Triangle Art
Title: 'Seras-tu là?'
Gregory Dubus never learned artistic techniques in a school allowing him to make figurative works. It was while looking at the paintings of the pioneers of abstract art (Malevich, Kandinsky, Mondrian ...) that he had a revelation and naturally turned to geometric abstraction to achieve his works.
While drawing inspiration from their influences, he decided to go his own way. Also, his architectural works very quickly began to include triangular structures and compositions to become the main or unique form in all his works.
This love of the triangle is a representation of parental transmission, his personality, and his values (See his abstract self-portrait for more explanation). The artist uses the term 'Triangle Art' to describe an aspect of his art praising the triangular form.
