Folder Art
Title: 'Celebration'
Like many students, Gregory Dubus scribbled on cardboard sleeves (Folders) he used to organize his papers. One day, he realized that these had a certain aestheticism and he made the decision to become an artist during his spare time.
After graduating from a major business school (SKEMA), his work required him to live and travel abroad regularly, so he had the idea to continue using this very practical medium to make works. In fact, he just has to put a folder and a few pens in a plastic bag to take them everywhere with him and thus transform unnecessary waiting time in restaurants, station platforms, airport halls…into creative time.
As he was the first person in the world to use folders to develop his art on the move, he decided to call ‘Folder Art’ the works produced on this atypical medium.
With luck, you may still have the opportunity to meet the artist in public places around the world and see him drawing!
